Concept Design to Construction Documentation

CONCEPT DESIGN

The concept design phase provides a visual representation of your landscape design, allowing you to see how the space will look and function before construction begins. I will work with you to develop a design that reflects your unique style and preferences, taking into account factors such as site analysis, sustainability, and user needs. I will present you with a range of options for your landscape design, and will work with you to refine the design until it meets your needs and exceeds your expectations.

DETAILED DESIGN

The detailed design phase provides the technical specifications and detailed plans required for tendering purposes. I will work with you to develop a design that meets your needs and achieves your desired outcomes, taking into account factors such as site analysis, sustainability, and user needs. I will develop detailed plans and technical specifications that take into account all aspects of the landscape design, from grading  to plant selection and hardscape design elements. I will ensure that every detail is accounted for, creating a design that is not only beautiful but also functional and sustainable.

CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION

My comprehensive construction documentation ensures that your landscape design is executed to the highest standards, with every detail accounted for. I will provide you with all the information you need to ensure that your landscape project is completed successfully, including detailed plans and technical specifications, as well as guidance on materials, construction techniques, and maintenance requirements. I will work closely with you throughout the construction process, providing support and guidance to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to your satisfaction.

Project experience:
Seddon Street Nature Strip Project

Brendon was contracted in 2022 to create a landscape plan (for construction purposes) for a new unit development in Seddon, Victoria. The landscape plan was developed with consideration of the clients desire to passively inhabit the space (entertainment spill-out space) while also meeting Council service and sight-line requirements. Brendon worked closely with the client through brainstorming workshops and species 'mood boards' to identify the preferred planting palette and materials, finishes & furniture schedule. The client was very satisfied with the end product, posting to social media of it's success.
